The First Turkish-Gulf Real Estate Forum
In an important step to strengthen the economic relations between Turkey and the Gulf countries, the first Turkish-Gulf real estate forum and exhibition was opened in the city of Istanbul in 2013. The aim of this grand event was to shed light on the available real estate investment opportunities in both Turkey and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The conference was attended by government officials and leaders in the real estate sector from both countries, in addition to investors and leading real estate companies. Throughout the forum, discussion sessions and workshops were held on the latest developments in the real estate market and best practices in the field of investment and development.
Antalya and Sparta Tourism Conference
In 2012, we organized a tourism conference in the cities of Antalya and Sparta in cooperation with the Investment Development Agency for the Mediterranean Region (BAKA). The aim of the conference was to introduce the tourism potential of this region and attract more tourists from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
During the conference, we presented detailed information about the tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment activities in the region. We also organized field visits for the delegations of tourism companies to get a firsthand experience of the tourism landscape. This event resulted in the signing of several agreements and partnerships between Saudi and Gulf companies and their counterparts in the region.
Overall, the conference was successful in enhancing tourism cooperation between the countries in the region and attracting more tourists from the Gulf to the unique tourism destinations in Turkey. It also helped to highlight the investment opportunities available in the tourism sector in the region.
Kutahya Promotion Program
In 2009, we organized an informational program about the city of Kutahya, Turkey for a group of media professionals from Arab countries. The aim of this initiative was to introduce the tourism assets and investment opportunities available in this city and the surrounding region.
During the program, the media delegation went on field tours to visit the prominent tourist attractions in Kutahya, such as the historic Kutahya Castle and the ruins of the ancient city of Aphrodisias. They also familiarized themselves with a selection of distinguished hotels and tourism resorts in the city and the surrounding area.
In addition, the delegation held meetings with officials from the local tourism and investment authorities to discuss the available investment opportunities in the tourism, hospitality and entertainment sectors. The focus was on the promising tourism projects in the region and the government incentives and privileges offered to investors.
The Arab media professionals left this visit with positive impressions about Kutahya’s potential as a distinctive tourist destination and an attractive environment for investments in this sector. We expect this to result in wider media coverage of this city and region in the Arab media.
King Fahd University of Petroleum Programs
King Fahd University of Petroleum, one of the leading universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has adopted our company to organize annual trips for its outstanding students to Turkey, with the aim of providing these students with an integrated educational, cultural, and tourism experience.
These trips include visits to several leading Turkish universities, where students are exposed to the education and research systems in Turkey. The trip also includes visits to advanced Turkish factories, which provide students with a direct opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technologies and practices in the fields of industry and technology.
In addition to the educational aspect, the trip has a distinctive tourism component, where students are able to explore the prominent historical and cultural landmarks in Turkey.
These specialized programs adopted by the university were initiatives from our company, which we have also implemented and are invaluable for the outstanding students of King Fahd University of Petroleum, as they can benefit from these trips in developing their leadership and analytical skills, as well as strengthening their ties with their peers from different nationalities.
